I got this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! the other day about how Kinja handles photos in posts. This will be particularly helpful to those of us who make large, picture-heavy posts and are concerned about formatting.

Here is the gist

Kinja is designed to be a flexible layout, for optimized viewing on as many devices as possible. To meet this standard, some of your images may be adjusted by the following rules:

Any image larger than or equal to 970px width will display as 970px wide as the top image. As a body image, it will display as 640px wide

Any image larger than or equal to 640px width, or smaller than or equal to 969px width will display as 640px wide

Any image equal to or less than 639px width will display as 300px wide

Any image less than 300px width will display as 300px wide

I just make everything 12" wide @70-100 dpi.

It was more for the problems I was having composing my Akutan Zero post I was working on over the weekend. Kinja was reducing a photo that I wanted to fill the entire column.
